Otherwise known of the pinup boy of Hardcore, Darren Styles may be better known to the rest of us mere mortals as the man who wrote Pretty Green Eyes and Feeling Fine which originated on the Hardcore scene and went on to became massive chart hits when covered by Ultrabeat in 2003/2004. Darren also penned the tracks Field of Dreams (Flip & Fill), and Heart of Gold (Kelly Llorenna)
Darren has also had two top 20 singles with Mark Breeze under the Styles & Breeze moniker - namely Heartbeatz and You're Shining.
More recently Darren released his first solo single 'Save Me', which can still be seen on most music channels on the telly every day - a massive track on the hardcore scene originally it crossed over into the commercial clubs and even onto Radio 2!
And as if all that wasn't enough Darren still keeps up his appearances as a DJ on the hardcore scene, and has been acclaimed as one of the scene's best advocates for many years, playing all over the globe and also being the mixer of the first CD on all three of the Clubland X-Treme Hardcore albums, which have all sold by the bucket load. Darren is also working in several collaborations at the moment, most notably with Ultrabeat - the act who so succesfully covered his tracks and sent them into the mainstream. 'Sure Feels Good To Me' is the most recent example of this exciting collaboration amongst two of the biggest talents in UK dance music.
Next up from Darren himself though will be his debut album - Skydivin' - which as you'd expect is absolutely fantastic. Covering many different genre's over two CDs the album is just in the final stages of being compiled and hopefully we'll have some news on a release date for you soon!
